Project Details

We were engaged during the design process for the renovation of our clients lovely Rose Park villa and worked with them to create a beautiful green space that would ensure privacy from the neighbours.

FRONT GARDEN: Creating a formal but playful entrance, the curved sunken garden, with its grouping of buxus spheres and copse of Japanese maples, is juxtaposed with stacked batons of bluestone, straight lines of hedging and a mass planting of Pittosporum ‘Miss Muffet’.

BACK GARDEN: Pleached Weeping Lilypily hedges flank the back garden and help to screen neighbouring properties. The entertainment space is extended by banded paving interplanted with dichondra and a bespoke limestone bench that celebrates the existing Golden Elm. Steppers lead from the house to the garage and to the garden room where the bluestone batten clad paving circle reflects the circular ceiling void and is surround by a lush, green textural garden. A lawn area was also paramount in this dog friendly house!
