Project Details

Colour, colour, colour! A vibrant garden full of flowers, bees and butterflies is what we sought to create as we worked closely with our clients to update the garden of their Barossa farm house.

Viewed from the new Pétanque pitch, the perennial garden's grasses glow golden at dusk, with pops of hot pink Agastache and bobbing purple Verbena flower heads providing a colourful contrast.

Whilst in the reconfigured courtyard, the outdoor kitchen, featuring a pizza oven and Argentinian grill, is a fabulous amenity for this prolific entertainer. Guests can enjoy a long lunch under the living pergola and the seating wall curves around a fire pit for evening entertainment. The palette of recycled red brick, natural stone and local gravel compliment both the old farm house and the modern extension and add to the rustic charm.
